Madd Tutorial 64

Were you fortunate enough to grab one or both of the Saved By The Bell inspired grab bags that Mo offered up a few weeks ago?
I was super stoked, and able to grab them both.
While they're both awesome bags, the Miss Bliss Years colors were calling out to me this morning, so I decided to do a looks with a few of the colors from it.

Also, I must mention that I had a horrible time trying to capture the correct color of these gorgeous neutrals. On some of the photos the color on the lid is more accurate, and on others it's the photo of the color itself.

Enjoy :)

Color 1
Preppy
(color on the lid is more accurate)

Pop a generous amount of Preppy onto the inner & middle lid. On the middle lid portion you're going to want to stay below the crease. Also, apply to the inner lower lash line.

Color 2
Belding Brown
(color on the lid is more accurate)

Add Belding Brown right to the center of the crease.
Using a fluffy brush I made a "sweeping" motion to distribute Belding Brown  across the entire crease area.

Color 3
KKTY
(color of the product itself is more accurate)

Lastly apply KKTY to the outer lid, crease, and lower lash line.
With a blending brush blend Belding Brown & KKTY together.

Madd Tutorial 63

About 2 weeks ago Mo over at Madd Style Cosmetics released this awesome, spur of the moment collection, inspired by the Disney movie Aladdin.
These colors are jewel toned, soft, and oh so freaking gorgeous.
I really enjoyed using these colors in this look...

Color 1
Arabian Nights

Arabian Nights is going to go on the inner lid - slightly onto the middle lid, and along the inner lower lash line.

Color 2
Magic Carpet Ride

Staying below the crease apply Magic Carpet Ride  to the middle of the lid, almost  to the edge - overlapping where Arabian Nights is on the middle, and blend Arabian Nights into Magic Carpet Ride.

Color 3
Into the Sunset

Add Into the Sunset to the crease. Blend with Arabian Nights & Magic Carpet Ride.

Color 4
Diamond in the Rough

Lastly put Diamond in the Rough on the outer lid, and outer lower lash line.
When you apply Diamond in the Rough it's going to overlap Magic Carpet Ride & Into the Sunset.
Be sure to blend this area thoroughly.

Madd Tutorail 62

Last week I was finally able to break into my Labyrinth inspired grab bag, and man was I excited about these yummy colors.
Of course, Goblin King is my favorite...who can pass up a duo-chrome purple?!?!

Color 1
Dance Magic

Dab a good bit of Dance Magic onto the duct area, and inner lower lash line.

Color 2
Hoggle & The Bog

Apply Hoggle & The Bog to the inner & middle lid. Be sure to stay below the crease.
( yes, you want it to slightly overlapping Dance Magic
Blend Dance Magic into Hoggle & The Bog.

Color 3
Goblin King

Add Goblin King to the outer lid, up into the outer crease, and along the outer lower lash line.

Color 4
'Ello

Take 'Ello, and place it in the crease - from the outer to inner lid.
Then grab a nice fluffy, and blend the crease colors.

Add your favorite liner and mascara to finish the look.

Madd Tutorial 61

*yawn*
I don't know about you, but summer just zaps all of my energy, and makes me not want to do my makeup at all. Because of this I've been doing very minimal makeup, and going light on my eyeshadow colors because it's easier to hide an "oops" moment, lol.
Anywho, one to this weeks look.

This is the one step that I DO NOT skip during the summer.
Eye prep

Color 1
Cuddlefish

Alrighty, take your brush and apply Cuddlefish to the inner lid, middle lid & inner lower lash line. When you're apply it to the middle lid be sure and stay below the crease.

Color 2
Peaseblossom

Add Peaseblossom to the outer lid, upper outer crease, and outer lower lash line.

Color 3
Atomic Dreamland

Now you're going to use Atomic Dreamland to fill in the gap.
Apply to the middle crease area, and blend out.
You'll need to take some more Peaseblossom and take it slightly into the crease, and to make the edge dark again.

Finish it off with liner and mascara.
