Madd Tutorial 48

By request from on of the lovely ladies in the Madd Style Cosmetics FB group, a look using Gloomcookie.

First, gather up all supplies!
Domed & Pointed blenders - Lights, camera, lashes mascara by Tarte - Caviar eye color stick in Turquoise by Laura Mercier - 24/7 liner in Perversion by Urban Decay - Liquid eyeliner in black by Essence

Prep the lids

Color 1
Gloomcookie

Using the pointed blender I applied Gloomcookie on the inner lid, into the crease, and along the inner lower lash line.

Color 2
Ohm

Again, using the pointed blender I added Ohm to the middle lid, and into the crease. With the domed blender, blend Gloomcookie into Ohm.
Then add a little more Ohm over the blended area.

Color 3
Charming

Same brush! Apply an ample amount of  Charming to the outer lid, crease, and outer lower lash line. Grab the domed blender, and blend Ohm into Charming.

Finished look
1. Essence liquid liner for my normal liner 2. 24/7 liner on the tight line 3. Laura Mercier color stick on the water line

Madd Tutorial 47

Decided to do some lovely neutrals today <3

I also picked up a new liquid eye liner this afternoon that I will do a review of after I try it out!

Start of by applying a base and some Awesome Sauce

First color I used is one that I really should be giving more attention because it is beautiful!

Color 1
Honey Rose

You're going to use a pencil brush to apply Honey Rose on the inner and middle lid. Making sure to take it up slightly into the crease area.

Color 2
Double Tap

Using the same pencil brush (wipe if off first), I applied Double Tap to the outer lid, outer lower lash line, and into the crease over lapping where Honey Rose was applied.
Then with a blending brush, blend Honey Rose into Double Tap at every point that they meet.

Color 3
Dirty Chai

To create a softer look I took Dirty Chai and blended out the edges, and added it to the inner lower lash line.
(You could skip this step if you like how it looks without Dirty Chai)

Add liner & mascara, and you're done!
Same photo, different lighting.

Madd Tutorial 46

Gooooooood evening, everybody!
(totally said in Dr.Nick's voice btw, lol.)

Tonight I have for you a collection of very unlikely colors to slather on your eyelids, if you should choose to do so. Haha.

You will for sure need to prep your eyes if you want these colors to POP. If by chance you would like to go with a more subtle look you can always skip using a base, but I like my colors bold, so I ALWAYS use a base.

I use about 2 swipes of base followed by a tiny amount of Awesome Sauce.

COLOR ONE
Blister in the Sun
Pat on a good amount of Blister in the Sun to the inner lid, crease, and inner lower lash line.

COLOR TWO
Tiger's Blood
Add Tiger's Blood to the middle of the lid, and crease, blending Blister in the Sun over Tiger's Blood.

COLOR THREE
Vortex
Vortex is going to go in the outer lid, in the crease alllll the way over to Blister in the Sun, and along the outer lower lash line, blending into Blister in the Sun.
Blend Tiger's Blood into Vortex, and blend the Vortex that is in the crease so that it fades into the other colors.

FINISHED LOOK

Madd Tutorial 45

I felt inspired to do a look using my Doctor Who inspired piggies since Doctor Who came back on last weekend! I am so very excited to watch all the new episodes =D

First prep the lid as usual

FIRST COLOR
K-9
Pat a good amount of K-9 onto the inner lid, slightly into the crease and along the inner lower lash line.

SECOND COLOR
Torchwood
Torchwood is going on the middle of the lid, slightly up into the crease.
Blend K-9 into Torchwood.

THIRD COLOR
Bad Wolf
Apply Bad Wolf onto the outer lid. Also, slightly further into the crease above Torchwood, and along the outer lower lash line.
Blend Torchwood into Bad Wolf.
This step will take of bit of playing with since the colors are so different. Just let Bad Wolf set for a few seconds so that the color can settle then add more as needed.

Add your favorite liner and mascara.
Also, I use a touch a Psychic Paper for a brow highlight, and to soften the edges.
I need to buy some more liner, apparently mine is running out.
